Managing your profile and email address, how signing in works, and deleting your account.
Your account holds the personal details that follow you across every organization and project: your name, your email address, and the way you sign in. To open it, click your name in the menu and choose Account.
On the account page you may update your name and your email address. Your name appears wherever you show up in RankYak, for example in the member list of an organization.
When you change your email address, the new address must be verified before it counts as confirmed: RankYak sends a verification link, and a notice with a resend button remains on the page until you click it. If you signed up with Google, your email address is managed by Google and cannot be changed in RankYak.
RankYak does not use passwords. Instead, the sign-in page offers two options.

You may delete your account from the bottom of the account page. Deleting your account:
Articles that were already published on your website are not touched: they live on your site, not in RankYak, and remain online.
To confirm, you are asked to type your email address. This action cannot be undone, so if you only want to stop paying while keeping your data, you should cancel your subscription instead.
Ask the copilot inside RankYak for an instant answer about your own account, or send us an email and a human will get back to you.
