Welcome to RankYak

What RankYak does, how it works, and what to expect in your first days.

RankYak automates the recurring work of SEO: finding keywords, planning content, writing articles, publishing them to your site, and building backlinks. You connect a website, and the system does the rest on a daily rhythm. This guide explains what RankYak does, how the pieces fit together, and what your first week looks like.

What RankYak does

Four systems run continuously for every project.

Keyword research. RankYak analyzes your website and discovers the keywords your audience searches for, scored by search volume and difficulty. Discovery keeps running in the background, so new opportunities keep arriving without any manual research. You may also add keywords of your own at any time.

A monthly content plan. Each month, RankYak selects the best keywords from your pool and schedules one article per day on a calendar. The plan balances quick wins against long-term topical authority, and you may reorder, swap, or remove any planned article before it is written.

Daily articles. On its scheduled date, each article is researched, outlined, and written as a long-form piece: structured headings, a meta description, internal links to your other pages, citations, and an on-brand header image. Articles are written in your brand voice and adapt to the language of your project.

Backlinks. Through the backlink exchange, your site receives links from other vetted websites in the network, which steadily builds your domain authority without outreach.

Your first week

After you create a project, RankYak analyzes your site and runs its first round of keyword research. Your first article is generated right away, so you may judge the quality without waiting for the schedule. From the next day on, articles follow daily according to your content plan.

If you have connected an integration such as WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix, or WordPress.com, each finished article is published to your site automatically, either live or as a draft for your review. Without an integration, articles simply collect in RankYak and you may copy or export them whenever you like.

What you should do next

Typically, three steps are enough to get the full value out of RankYak.

  1. Connect your CMS under Settings, so publishing runs without you. If you would like to review each article first, enable draft publishing in the integration settings.
  2. Review your keywords and calendar. Archive the keywords that miss the mark so they are excluded from planning, and star the ones you care about to keep them easy to find.
  3. Connect Google Search Console if you have it. RankYak uses it to track your rankings and to avoid targeting keywords you already rank for.

A note on consistency

SEO rewards sites that publish steadily, and consistency is precisely what RankYak automates. Each article targets a new keyword, strengthens your site's topical authority, and adds another page that search engines and AI assistants may surface. The results compound over months rather than days, so the most useful thing you can do is let the schedule run.
