What unlimited sites on the Business plan means, and how to raise the limit.
The Business plan includes unlimited sites: one subscription covers every website you run, and the price does not change with the project count. Since every active site receives the full pipeline, from keyword research to publishing, unlimited sites is subject to a fair use limit. This page explains the limit and what to do when your organization grows past it.
Under fair use, a Business subscription runs up to 25 active sites. Only active projects count toward the limit: a deactivated project keeps all of its data without occupying a site, so you may keep as many inactive projects as you like. When every site is in use, activating another project asks you to deactivate one first.
The plan's monthly credit allowances are separate from the site limit. They are shared across all of your sites, however many you run; see the billing page for what the plan includes.
The limit is not a hard ceiling. If you would like to run more than 25 active sites on one subscription, you should contact support, and the limit will be raised for your organization.
Fair use applies to the Business plan only. The Starter and Professional plans include a fixed number of sites, one and five, and those counts are plan limits rather than fair use bounds. To run more sites than your plan includes, you should upgrade from the billing page. Of course, you may also split your websites across multiple organizations, each with its own subscription, if you would rather keep them on separate invoices.
