Inviting people to your organization, what members can do, and removing them.
You may invite other people to your organization to work on its projects with you. Members share access to everything in the organization, so a colleague, a client, or a writer can review articles, adjust keywords, and manage integrations without borrowing your login. Members are managed per organization: open the organization overview, click the three dots next to the organization, and choose Members.
The invitee receives an email with a link to set up their account. Since RankYak signs everyone in with an email link or Google, there is no password for them to create; they simply sign in with the invited address. The invitation then appears on their start screen, where they may accept or decline it. Their email address must be verified before they can accept.
Until the invitation is accepted, it is listed on the Members page as pending. From the three-dots menu next to a pending invite you may resend the email or revoke the invitation. Inviting the same address again simply resends the email rather than creating a duplicate.
Members have access to all projects in the organization: keywords, the content plan, articles, publishing, and project settings. There is currently no way to limit a member to individual projects, so if someone should only see certain websites, you should place those websites in a separate organization and invite them there.
Two things remain reserved for the organization's owner: the owner cannot be removed from the organization, and only the owner may delete the organization.
They lose access to the organization and all of its projects immediately. Removing a member does not delete anything they worked on; articles, keywords, and settings stay exactly as they are.
Sometimes you may wish to step out of an organization you were invited to. In that case, the same menu next to your own name offers Leave organization instead.
