Wix

The Wix integration lets RankYak publish articles directly to the blog on your Wix site. The connection is made through your Wix account, so there are no API keys to copy, and once it is active, every new article is posted automatically, either live or as a draft for your review.

Before connecting, make sure the Wix Blog app is installed on your site; RankYak publishes articles as blog posts, so the site needs a blog to receive them. Wix explains how to add one in their documentation.

Connecting Wix

If you use multiple workspaces in Wix, you should first select the correct one in the Wix dashboard, since the authentication connects whichever workspace is active.

1. Go to Settings, then Integrations, and click Connect next to Wix.
2. In the popup, click Authenticate with Wix.
3. Log in to your Wix account if prompted, select the site you would like to connect, and confirm.

Once you confirm, RankYak completes the connection and opens the integration settings so you may choose an author.

Choosing an author

Every published article is attributed to a member of your Wix site. RankYak lists your site's members so you may pick the one articles should be published as; when the site has a single member, it is selected automatically, and when there are many, you may search the list. Of course, you may change the author later by clicking Edit settings next to the connection.

Publishing as drafts

If you would like to review each article before it goes live, enable Publish articles as draft in the same settings. New articles then appear in your Wix dashboard as draft posts, and you publish them from there on your own terms.

Disconnecting

To stop publishing to Wix, go to Settings, then Integrations, and click Disconnect next to the connection. Publishing stops immediately; articles already on your site are not affected.
